Visitors to the exhibition Moderne am Main 1919–1933 at the Museum Angewandte Kunst Frankfurt are invited to virtually experience the complex relationships and working networks of people in Moderne am Main via VR glasses.
A controller enables both interaction with a dynamic network and access to the individual nodes in the virtual world. Through audio tracks, visitors receive information on historical backgrounds, architecture, design and the actors in Moderne am Main. Through visual and acoustic support, the information conveyed remains firmly anchored and becomes possible to experience. Thus the participants themselves become part of the search for traces – the virtual space becomes a lived history.
